Friday, day...all school day, ran flower sale for grade school.

Friday night...went over to Kentucky to find a cache, and make plans for Saturday morning.

Sat. morning, drove to Lexington to find 2 caches, had a quick lunch, mad record time back to Taylor Mill to pick up Emily, run home to pick up her gym shoes (which she had forgotten... ), and by the time we drove up to Fairfeild, she was only able to run one event in her track meet.

Then my car wouldn't start...wait 20 minutes or so, and miraculously, it does. Drive home for a twenty minute rest, then get ready for the Mother daughter girl scout banquet.

Today...get up, church (after getting everyone ready), shopping for Mother's day cards, etc...car won't start AGAIN...
Drive to KY for mother's day lunch cookout, and then come to Sluggo's for dinner.

Prodding oldest to get homework and project done for school.

Scary thing is...most of NEXT weekend is already scheduled, too.

Friday night, parish picnic.

Saturday:

morning, park clean up at Mt.Airy, get Emily to her track meet. After the trash cleanup (and picking Emily UP), a group of us plan to go up to Walnut hills to tackle a cache placed in the abandoned Railroad tunnel.

Sunday seems to be relatively open...but it IS still 7 days away...

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">Visit GL? Ohhhh, buddy, I'm going to do more than just visit. We are going to be lovers, doing our part to destroy heterosexual marriages across this Great Land of Ours.

Little do they suspect, but GL and I have been slowly destroying Bob and Gail's marriage for several years now. The next time GL and I hook up just might send Bob and Gail over the edge...

MOUHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAAAAAAA!

Currently, I'm at work, "working."

Then I'm going to Kohl's to use a $10 certificate they gave me last week.

Then I'll work out. It's back day.

Then I'll go home and do a host of things. All of them are sooo much fun:

Scrub the kitchen floor.
Bathe the dogs.
Mow the yard. Mow my neighbor's yard. Mow my other neighbor's yard. (The yards are small.)
Fix the back screen door.
Do laundry.
Prepare for trip to Florida next week (Ft. Walton and possibly Clearwater for a day.)
Inspect my tenant's attic, fix plaster, have my "color consultants" advise me on how to paint it.
Find netting for my japanese maple.
Clean the shower and sink.
Go to grocery store.
Do dishes.
Clean and organize mounds of paper off desk, reconnect computer.
Call Mom on Mother's Day.
Do my part to squash efforts of the conservative creeps who want to deny basic rights to gays.
Go see a movie.
Jog on Sunday - if my shin splints let me.
Strip paint off my front window.
Put new hose on washing machine.
Attempt to engage in a homosexual relationship, in an overt attempt to disrupt and destroy heterosexual marriages across the US.
Pick up suit from dry cleaner.
Vacuum and dust.
Go to Mammoth Coffee in Newport. Read the Sunday paper.
Maybe look at the house for sale two doors down.
Remove the pile of clothes that has been sitting at the base of my bed for the past month.
Go to antique store in Bellevue to search for dining room ceiling fixture.

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">Just checking on my weekend list to see how successful I was. Hmmmm...not very...

Kohl's. Did it. Bought $15 sandals for my Florida trip, but only cost $5 with my certificate.

Work out. Did it. Worked on back muscles.

Scrub kitchen floor. Nope. Still smells like dog pee.

Bathe dogs. Nope. But managed to trim (butcher) one of them.

Mow the yards. Yes. But broke my push mower handle in the process. As a bonus, did some planting and cleaned up the patio. I am pleased; it looks nice.

Fix screen door. Yes. Months after it broke, it took 15 minutes to fix.

Do laundry. Yes! And I managed to fold it all and put it away, too! Woo hoo!

Prepare for Florida trip. Yes. I did buy some sandles and put aside clothes in preparation.

Inspect attic. Nope. Don't want to have anyone over until my kitchen doesn't smell like dog pee.

Netting for Japanese maple. Get your netting now before it's too late! 69 cents a yard at John Hancock! Available in all sorts of bright colors. My maple is now wrapped in festive purple netting. How funny to see lines of middle aged men lined up at John Hancock's for fabric. I understand Lowe's and Home Depot are rather expensive. The women at Hancock fabrics are weary, cutting netting 8 hours a day.

Clean shower and sink. Successful.

Go to grocery store. Decided I didn't need to the week before I leave for vacation.

Do dishes. Yes...I loaded the diswasher.

Clean off desk. HA! I make myself laugh. Actually added to that mess. The computer remains disconnected.

Call Mom on Mothers Day. We talked for an hour. Celebrated last Sunday and dropped off hanging flower basket Friday evening.

Do my part to squash conservative efforts to deny gays basic rights. Nothing overt, but I did read an article that will cause me to write the author to set him straight. Pun intended.

Go see a movie. Declined offer. Wasn't in the mood for an action flick.

Go jogging. Getting too fat to run. Did low impact stair master thingy on Sunday.

Strip paint off front window. Forgot all about it.

Put new hoses on washing machine. Never made it to Lowe's to buy the hoses.

Attempt to engage in homosexual relationship in an effort to destroy heterosexual marriages across this Great Land of Ours. Will wait until my Florida trip to hook up with GL. Immediate goal is to destroy Bob and Gail's marriage.

Pick up suit from cleaner. But got into a weird, protracted discussion about how they wouldn't let me use my credit card for a charge under $10. The price to clean my suit was $9.50. So I told them to charge me $10 and just let me go. Then they charged me $10 and gave me 50 cents back. Uh...ok.

Vaccuum and dust. House is still dust pussy central.

Go to Mammoth Coffee. I'm sorry to say I went to Starbuck's instead. But I do recommend Mammoth, even if it seems a bit misplaced on Monmouth. It belongs in Clifton or Northside.

Look at house two doors down. Not a high priority, so I didn't do it. Just what I need - another house I can't take care of.

Remove pile of clothes. Not only were they removed, I organized them by size and whether they had buttons missing. In a major accomplishment, I actually sewed a real button on a pair of paints. It took something like 15 minutes for me to thread the friggin needle.

Go to antique store. Don't have the money, so why bother?

When are you coming down this week? Email me at [email protected] and I'll email you my number.

Now Reason you know I oppose your evil scheme to break up Bob and Gail. And you know it's because they are more easily contained together then if they were out there separately.

Your weekend sounds strikingly similar to mine in some respects: I cut grass, worked in my yard, gave my dogs a bath, did laundry and had a cook-out.

Email me.

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">Well for the record I deny it, but if it gets this board talking, what the hell. We need something to put some life in this place. A rumor here or there might be a good thing. Actually just a rumor of me actually hooking up with anyone at all is going in the right direction...
